The Scottish Borders

The Scottish Borders
The Scottish Borders is one of the most beautiful areas in the UK

The border between Scotland and England is known locally as just "The Borders". It has been the scene of battles and unrest for centuries, land has changed hands many times, indeed Scotland once stretched much farther south than it does now and places such as Berwick-upon-Tweed, which lies on the English side, still has a sizeable following who want to extend the Scottish border to include them!

Below are some of the activities and attractions you could visit in the borders during your stay on Holy Island in Fisherman's Cottage in what is some of the UK's most spectacular and sparsely populated areas. You may not want to go home!!!
