Holy Island is perfectly located to allow exploration of Northumberland and the Scottish Borders areas with close rail links at Berwick-upon-Tweed and the main A1 trunk road only 5 miles away if you have a mind to go farther afield.
Fisherman's Self-Catering Holiday Cottage
The cottage lies in the heart of the village on Holy Island (Lindisfarne) but is in a fabulously secluded location that is both quiet and a sun-trap in the summer months.
All linen & towels are provided, as is coal and logs for the fireplace. Electricity is unmetered and included for your convenience.
A welcome pack is included on your arrival so that you will have the essentials (tea, coffee, milk, fruit juice, wine etc.) available until you have a chance to stock up.
Fisherman's Cottage Living Area
The ground floor of the holiday cottage is open plan. We have included a double sofa bed to allow for extra guests if needed, however we do ask you to provide your own additional bedding for this purpose.
This living room area has comfortable seating, a flat screen tv, an inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove and incorporates the kitchen area and staircase to first floor bedroom.
Kitchen Area
The kitchen area is beautifully finished with hardwood worktops, stainless steel sink and plenty of cupboard space. A modern free-standing fridge/freezer and microwave oven also there for your convenience.
Master Bedroom
Taking up the entire first floor of the holiday cottage, this master bedroom is the last word in style and comfort. Windows on both aspects make it a fabulous light space during the day, with a sofa for added comfort if you want some quiet time to read. Safety glass and stainless steel railings guard the stairs in a modern, contemporary style.
Bathroom / Wet Room
Top quality fittings and a stylish finish make this bathroom / wet room a joy to use.
